DOES KNOWLEDGE ATTRACT YOU? 

Does knowledge have the magnetic charm to pull you out the mundane and sundry of your existence and give you the thrill and the ability to see the opportunity of being of great use to oneself, society and the world. Do you find knowledge to be the solution provider to most of your problems? As they say, same as having romantic relationship to failure for the start ups, the new world Information Age citizens need to develop a different relationship with the knowledge for their own benefit. The Knowledge – Existence Paradigm has had changed forever.

Knowledge in today’s world has to be your only fatal attraction. That fatal attraction would find a solution to literally anything and everything you intend to to. The knowledge in today’s world has become dynamic and real time. This adds to the fundamentals and a sensible and workable connect between the two has to be established between the two. To be able to criss cross and get into the right knowledge resources and use it in the beneficially is a knack in itself and that too needs a reasonable amount of knowledge. The world acclaimed Google searches would mean a little, it can be more like having a dictionary in your possession compared to mastering the language.

As knowledge products define the world’s best known companies and the future trajectory of the world is totally dependent on the trajectory research and development takes, it is but natural that knowledge it able to attract the whole of the next generation. Alas, that has not happened. It is still limited to the conventional style exam and marks. What is required is much more purposeful relationship with knowledge which continues over time and space and that it keeps on delivering persistently depending on the requirements and the overall purpose.

Research for research purposes should have been given up long time back. It can only be called as a waste of resources and time. The start up ecosystem it feels also suffers from the lack of the capability to garner knowledge and take it further into a purposeful product and its commercial exploitation. Every age has to find its successful relationship with its most important asset – its knowledge now.
