FUTURE FIT ORGANISATION
That the organisations would have to transform in the days to come is an accepted fact. It’s is the challenge for both the employees, leadership & the organisation is no brain teaser. Future fit thus has become the buzz word of the HR departments across the whole spectrum. It’s a challenge nobody knows whether they will be able to handle of their own. Whether, the HR Dept. aligns to the overall strategic planning or patchwork solution, which is happening in the name of future fit, only the future decide.
Technology has been is pacing up with Big Data, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence is tightening its grips over the businesses and the interface which the businesses will have with the customer / user pace. Disruptive Innovation has become the name of the game. This is challenge which HR faces at all levels from the last operational employee to the top leadership to the CEO & the owners. Creating new job descriptions for promotions and methods to bridge the gap is a huge challenge. The new hiring mechanism has to come in place. The half baked current hiring mechanism will not succeed.
The Human Resource’s investment has to increase immensely, what would be the the way, is the most intriguing question. There are no experts in the field. The old matrix might come in handy. The HR management paradigm is put upside down. How to create creative and innovative mindset? These are not simple HR issue. It’s would take sometime to evolve a HR strategy, who would go out of business in the interregnum, who knows.
The start ups pose another challenge because of their vision, passion, flexibility, agility and being more comfortable with uncertainty. This is the challenge for bigger, routinised, bureaucratic organisations. Having start up type solutions for a mammoth organisations is not easy. The final challenge is to have excellent HR resources for R & D, it becoming an integral part of any business enterprise.
