They're softening the blow with free credits, 30% discounts on add-ons, and refunds for upset customers. But OpenClaw's creator called it unfair, saying Anthropic copies open features then locks out competitors.
This hits hard as OpenAI woos the same developers. For AI fans, it shows the real cost of tech: massive servers don't run cheap, and agent tools demand smart limits to keep everything smooth for everyone.
