Muse Spark 1.3 scores 62 on the Intelligence Index, trailing only Anthropic’ Stop models yet costing far less per task. Gemini 3.8 Flash, priced at $0.75/$3.75 per million tokens, scores 59 with strong gains in coding, reasoning, and agentic workflows. Meta is also teasing a larger “Watermelon” model and open-weight releases soon.
More releases are expected this month, including OpenAI’s Astra — delayed slightly over security concerns—and Elon Musk’s Grok 4.7, potentially making four major launches in two weeks. This pace signals a fresh big-tech push for leadership in intelligence, cost, and real-world agent capabilities.
For individuals and enterprises, the flurry means more powerful tools at lower costs, but adoption still faces hurdles around integration, trust, and measurable ROI. While developers can experiment immediately, widespread productivity gains will depend on smoother deployment, clearer use cases, and better alignment with business workflows.
