HANDLING ON YOUR OWN!

Do you have an urge to handle your own things on your own? Do you find most of the advice obtrusive or not very worthy from an objective and empirical point of view? Do you feel most of the pressure and well being projected is mainly sentimental or just in tune with social expectations? While most people sooner than later get into this flow, some keep feeling the pinch on a regular basis and keep managing their existence painfully.

It is extremely difficult for a dependent person to work independently and the opposite is equally true. Dependency mindset is what is inculcated in us from school to college to professional organisations. Life without instructions sees to be a life not worthy of living. You will not have anybody blame. A life full of disclaimers is so fanciful to imagine for all of us. A life on crutches is not a worthy life, is not a management thought that has seeped in deep in our modern professional psyche.

The capability to handle on your own comes to only a few. It is the sum total of the opportunities what one was provided with, the capability to learn and use and making yourself more and more responsible, way beyond what the job description or the context demanded for. Being extremely fair in the tasks performed and being accountable for it is the beginning of picking up the knack of handling things on your own. The real beginning is when people working with you start looking up to you for guidance, support and facilitation.

Every single success small or big equips you in enhancing this skill. Over a period of time, you feel like trying it. And you do and you are able to handle on your own; task, activity or project. Now have arrived in your own way. Then complexities increase, teams grows bigger, the geographical scale changes but you keep handling everything on your own. Now you will be known for this trait and sought after.

THE CAPABILITY TO HANDLE ON YOUR OWN IS THE BIGGEST PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITY.
