 WRITING IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN

In a society where reading itself is a casualty, writing is never a favoured destination.  The pre-packaged forwards & half baked ill conceived comments, have become the mainstay of the social media. Writing in the professional domain has no connects to the outside world. The use of Internet & social media as a  disruptive professional publishing tool in the hands of every individual, has still to hit our intellectual psyche.  Writing in the public domain remains  bereft of creative, positive, proactive & innovative content,  fit to be used by professionals in the public domain.

While we all claim our expertise,  Clayton Christensen  says when one starts writing in a  cogent & incisive  manner, one realises,  how little he knows about the subject.  This might be the reason for academicians, intellectuals & professionals not entering this arena, though the results can propel careers & provide  immense professional standing & validation.

Few who venture out of their  courage & conviction are making a difference  to their lives & of the people at large. Writing in the public domain is a different ball game & can be  much more challenging than you  would have ever imagined.  Though the validation of the writing is instantaneous, yet even in an era of instant gratification, one does not take the plunge,  as one  is aware of the pitfalls.

Writing in the public domain is an art,  not taught either in academic institutions or by professional enterprises. It is an  iterative process of writing & learning,  giving you the real feel of the world, makes you a worthwhile contributor to change &  evolves you into a personality par excellence.  The knowledge becomes rock solid, fit for global usage.  The trajectory of individual’s learning is decided by the world outside.  Instead of lab to the field, it becomes brain for the world.

This is transition the world is yearning for, to reap full benefits of the knowledge economy.

WRITE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN TO MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN.
