BROKEN DOCUMENTS, BROKEN LIFE

Have you ever thought that most of the problems of human life either emanate out of faulty documents already created or your inability to create a flawless document. Broken documents as we call it leads to a faulty life, faulty business, faulty operations etc. It is the creation of a faulty mind and if the person who is supposed to operate the document is also faulty, you can very visualise the impact thereof. Courts run on documents and the humungous documents to be aligned to come a conclusion is the most monumental task there.

To start with the nature, quantum and the content of the most of document have somethings which still remains desired. On most of legal and other forms and templates the content does not correspond to the real nature of the transactions. There is an inherent flaw the document created. Each party wants to create the document to its advantage. After some time with disadvantages come out in the open and the other party feels cheated. And the bitter journey starts.

The capability of each stakeholders, present and future to write completely fact based, empirical and fair is the key to the creation of a successful document. The facts inclusive of the terms and conditions should remain un-debated for the whole life of the document. Besides, trying to create a document which is advantageous, there are also lots of document creators who don’t have the competence of the domain or the writing skills. They are forced to create a document as a part of their duty.

That duty finally transforms into the creation of broken documents. Some documents get broken in the process. The consultant creates a RFP document casually, the business enterprise bids with an urgency to win the contract – the marketing guys, the development / execution team bears the brunt and finally half baked product / project is commissioned for operations. Do all stakeholders understand the documents? Is their a common language of understanding. Behind most of the bickerings of the modern day is a broken document.

CREATING FLAWLESS DOCUMENTS IS AN ART WHICH THE WORLD IS STILL TO LEARN.
