CAPABILITY TO FOCUS IS THE CAPABILITY TO DELIVER

Capability to focus has been a challenge for human beings since times immemorial. Management education and training henceforth does provide enough focus to create focus in a professional. It is presumed to happen, though it is glaring by its absence. The fate of focus hangs in a balance in the present multimedia age, with social media being the icing on the cake.

Give its octopus like nature, it has the tendency to reach you, even if you try your level best to keep away. The efforts too at gaining focus is dwindling. There is a general perception amongst the youngsters that they can manage with distractions. This is necessarily not the case, the evil impact of lack of focus, can be seen all around. It can work only to our detriment.

When does thinking happen? There can innumerable answers mostly fanciful and even make believe to satisfy oneself. Without undivided thinking nothing even gets initiated in this world. ”Focus is so important because it is the gateway to all thinking: perception, memory, learning, reasoning, problem solving and decision making.” What we can accomplish devoid of this behavioural trait, is self evident. A focus mindset is a must, having a congenial atmosphere to bloom in an focus enabled ecosystem.

The casual approach has to go out of our lives. Little bit of pressure, stress and tension is quintessential to developing and sustaining this trait. The goal orientation with no Plan B helps us to consolidate this trait. Whatever work we indulge in, the capability to deliver emanates from here and nowhere else. Over a period of practising this trait, other important ingredients of success falls in place: hard work, sincerity and at the top end, a never say never die approach.

UNSTINTED FOCUS IS THE INITIATION OF THE CAPABILITY TO DELIVER.
