CHANGE IN CULTURE

CHANGE IN CULTURE

Cyber attacks goes on unabated, increasing in both intensity and frequency. Hacking capabilities is supposed to be at the root of this surge. Though hacking is becoming more and more complex with state actors putting in their might yet human factor still plays the most critical role.

The turn around time; the breach to detection time still remains abnormally high at 210 days. 97% of the Fortune 500 companies have been hacked  and remaining don’t know that they have been hacked. Vulnerabilities have been found on all software and of late even iOS. Nothing is secure.

In reality, 80% of breaches still happen because of human error / negligence. Security even in this scenario is still to get the attention it deserves from management to the last employee. Zero tolerance with putting tools in place to track progress will initiate the much delayed change.

BUILDING A RISK AWARE CULTURE CAN BE THE MOST CONCRETE MEASURE IN OUR BATTLE AGAINST HACKERS
