DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DELIVER?
If we go by the first wave of emotions, all of us feel to take the challenge and deliver whatever come may. How fast and how well the thought settles down that too you would have experienced on a day to day basis. This revolutionary brain and the up swell of emotions generally gives way even to accomplish day to day goals or to improve the quality and quantum of routine work. Have a deep observation around and your efforts too, you might find a similar behaviour most of the times.
The critical question then is, do we actually want to deliver? At least what we profess, make tall claims, claim to be different, making it happen for the first time et al. Are we wedded to it or it has to be projected this way because everybody else is doing it. Otherwise, you would be left out of the fake race. It all the tall claims were to be added up, we would have been a different society, economy and polity.
In reality, as practice shows, unspoken most of the times at least in public, we seem to very comfortable with what we are doing and mostly want it to happen the way it is. Change we detest and any deliverable at the cost of the comfort level is clear no no, whatever is spoken to suit the purpose is a different story. What is total quantum of our spoken word we don’t intend to practice? If it comes to the question of delivering the percentage is even more negligible.
Lots at least in the initial days have the urge and zeal to show that they have the capability to deliver but given the tenacity they have in them, most of them fall by the wayside with the first setback only. Few setbacks would unnerve nearly all. Those who persist are the winnerS. The challenge is that with a society where the prevalent mindset is of non-delivery and tall claims, how far can we go.
DEMONSTRATED STRING OF DELIVERIES CAN ONLY PROVIDE THE CONFIDENCE & NOT TALL CLAIMS.
