Meta’s Muse is its new personal AI agent that does more than answer questions — it can book travel, send emails, fill forms and make purchases on your behalf. At Connect 2026, Mark Zuckerberg made Muse the centrepiece of Meta’s hardware push, promising it will live on phones, desktops, keychains and glasses.
Charm is the buzzy new piece: a keychain-sized, 5G‑connected gadget with a two‑inch screen, cameras, speakers and a fingerprint sensor, built to give instant, always‑on access to Muse without unlocking a phone. Shipping in December, it packs Muse’s real‑time voice and avatar stack into a pocketable device that Zuckerberg calls the fastest way to talk to your agent.
Muse is also heading to Meta’s AI glasses within months, enabling hands‑free commands and “private processing” so even Meta says it cannot see what your glasses capture. With partners like PayPal, Walmart, Shopify, GitHub and Box integrating, Muse is moving from a chatbot to an action‑taking agent embedded in daily tasks and commerce.
The AI battle is shifting from apps to wearables: the winner will be the agent that lives closest to your eyes, ears and hands. Charm and Muse‑enabled glasses mark Meta’s bet that post‑smartphone AI will be ambient, voice‑first and always on.
