REAL MENTORING – THE SECOND INNINGS

 Investment is Human Resource’s is quite a complex game;  difficult to find correlations everywhere and equally difficult to calculate the return on investment. With no single agency under control, the  creation of a robust Human Resource ecosystem  is the only answer, self sustaining on its own strengths.  Mentoring can make a phenomenal difference,  more so by professionals who have spend a life time in a particular trade. An expertise and experience unmatched.  This is group of professionals who quietly retire after a lifetime of work.

 They can be transformed in an asset in no time.  This can be done by a dedicated government agency or a few entrepreneurs, who will have find ways and means to make this happen.  The HR asset is at hand and requirements are gaping at us to be attended.  This interface has to happen.

The investment is made in creation of HR pool through the educational system. Beyond that once employed,  training happens.  Lots of expertise & experience comes by through the professional career.  One day the professional generally retires.  The HR asset is wasted, when it can be used best.

The life expectancy goes much beyond 60.  The pressures of professional life are over. Liabilities are also taken care by that age. You can work on choice on completely your terms & conditions and relax too. These are ideal conditions for a professional to bloom & to make the most transformational impact. The process to be adopted is mentoring of young professionals, entrepreneurs & start ups. This is real mentoring.  It can facilitate creation of a new ecosystem.  This bonding would deliver.

 A professional career cannot have a better second innings than mentoring  in the interest of the nation. At the end a fulfilled life; one of a successful practitioner & a equally competent mentor.
