THE UTILITY OF DATA
Data is being created at a horrendous pace in India as in every other economy. All interactions, activities and processes are data points, social, economic, scientific and all otherwise. Collating data at the individual silo level in a rudimentary manner with rudimentary usage and rudimentary benefits has been our delivery model to date. Public data is also bound to open immense possibilities.
Though data analytics is taking shape yet machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence; defining technologies of the future of data have still to gain firm grounds at conceptual, academic, research, commercial and public service levels. Technology / solutions / connect with real life issues is critical to whether we become world leaders in these technologies or would be another story of the also rans. This story will be directly proportional to our growth story.
