CORONA TIMES – RESPONSE IN A GLOBALISED WORLD

A stitch in time saves nine is an adage which nobody would have missed in life, but what make out of it and how assimilate it in our professional and personal life is what counts. If it sounds crude for the seamless globalised world, then we certainly we can term it as response. There is micro and macro part to it, the sectors involved and the corresponding responses. Some have become so seamless that you need not make an effort break it, algorithms taking care of the seamless response.

Responses to business, supply chains, stock markets which run on their own so to say, for fullest utilisation of resources for maximisation of profits, is a different story. The nation states keeping a complete tab on world events and trends to the minutest connect and responding to it is certainly not the the norm. It has not been for good things as we have seen again and again from technology to education. It’s also not been happening in areas as diverse as terrorism to Cyber Security.

In health and other such supplementary areas our outmoded mindsets and archaic response still prevails. The incapability to respond in a globalised world has lead lots of negative impact in education, technology and health. With the right response unknown to wider world, the adverse impact does not come to light. That level of intricate consciousness in also not there. If something comes to light it is very deftly managed by powers that be and life moves on as they desire. Its treated as one odd.

Might be for the first time nations and nations and even inside nations; provinces and agencies are realising how they have failed to respond in a globalised world. Corona has taken the world by storm as if no response systems exist in large parts of world. WHO notwithstanding. The signs of doom were already visible. Pie charts, bar diagrams and summits cannot be the response in a world with hidden supply chains, for ex of Corona, which have to be understood, unravelled through its data and be successfully worked out through iterative and evolving solutions.

RESPONSES HAVE TO MATCH WITH THE PACE OF THE WORLD. THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.
