CORONA TIMES – INTEMPERATE, FRIVOLOUS & OUTRIGHT FOOLHARDY
These are the attitudes, mental moods and biases we nurse in this country and its manifestation is visible on a regular basis all throughout. This can start with flaunting you connects, might be the self proclaimed living in reflected glory to being a bystander at an accident spot or outright road rage or rash and negligent driving of the rich & powerful leading to accidents. In between these categories are innumerable varieties of individuals who make their own life difficult and dangerous and more often that of others by their acts.
We have learned to live with them in our normal day to day existence, whatever we lose in the bargain being immaterial. But, these are extraordinary times, never witnessed by generations, when the world in on tenderhooks, this behaviour is bringing us to unimaginable risks. All the behavioural traits mentioned have an uncanny depth of bravado in them. Bravado is propelled by ignorance.
While all reliable international channels, WHO and the research at John Hopkins are blaring the gory details of what Corona has done to this world, we have people who are still into their morning walks. They decide how and why they will not be impacted by Corona. This has lead to desperate appeals by medical practitioners on the frontlines and others begging for the forbearance. Even with best of the protective gear provided to medical practitioners / paramedics provided in many parts of the world, infections have still happened.
What makes some parts to our citizenry nonchalant is unknown? The spread is like wildfire, complete nitty gritty unknown, gives exponential a new meaning, while we still have skirmishes with the Police. Communities and nations cannot be made to pay a price of their life for the serious behavioural lapses of a few. Time to change. On are the brink. Utterly responsible behaviour is the only answer. We have to see a corona in every surface and every person and act accordingly to save ourselves.
EFFECTIVE AND ONE SHOT PLAN IN THE ONLY PLAN. THERE WOULD NEVER BE A PLAN B.
