DO WE KNOW OUR INTERFACES?

Interactions are at the base of the existence of individuals as social animals and enterprises for professional and business purposes.  Interactions are related to the interfaces we have & it decides the fulfilment of both our personal & professional lives.  On the general level, we generally don’t go beyond the standard interfaces we have, which is not anywhere near the present day requirements.

The digital world had added large number of interfaces which can be immensely satisfying.  Whatsapp is a case in point. For social interactions to knowledge requirements etc these interfaces have a depth & intensity never experienced in human history.  The Cyber interfaces has to be thought over with application of mind & clarity, as it has innumerable pitfalls, which lots are ending up wittingly or unwittingly.

Lots of external interfaces we are not aware of & at later stage, it is generally lamented for not having achieved the goal set out for.  Lots of free expertise & knowledge is available on the internet.  It’s high time when such interfaces needs to be validated & can be made structured & put on a regular iterative process, on a sustainable basis.  This will add lots of new validated learning,  which can be put to good use.

As of now we are on the mechanical mode; never ever review our internal & external interfaces, to our own peril.  Lots of business organisations barely have interfaces between their own criticals & lack of interfaces between human resources not connected by the organisational chart. This kills lots of likely interfaces which can be a real value add. External interfaces are a bigger question mark.

Knowing & creating interfaces which is ideal to meet personal & professional requirements can be the game changer.

CLARITY ON INTERFACES MEANS CONSOLIDATION OF RESOURCES TO ACHIEVE GOALS WITH CLARITY.
