ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAITS
Traits define your the likelihood to deliver in your chosen field or vocation in life. It also gives a fair indication of your success in the social arena, interpersonal relationships and an indication of the ability to create a well knit team together and extract the best out it. Similarly, entrepreneurship needs its combination of traits for creating a business enterprise, which can create product/s, commercialise it successfully and create an enduring enterprise. Entrepreneurial venture would always necessarily be on the untrodden path.
To set the entrepreneurial journey in motion, the trait which can ignite this missile is the ability to identify the opportunities. It is presumed that this trait would be dependent on education, knowledge, training, expertise, professional network etc rather than a flash in the pan dependent on mass media, hype or flavour of the day. Self challenging is a trait which propels you to work and plan in a self validated manner. It can treated as one form of practising detachment. Experimental mindset can cut down time to experiment. Consolidating experiential learning for the founder and the team is essential. The vagaries of business are enough to break anybody, so perseverance in the face of adversity is the ultimate trait you can bring to the table. At the pure operational level, one has to be comfortable with finance.
