FRAME OF MIND

FRAME OF MIND

An individual frame of mind is an amalgam of thought processes & knowledge picked up during family childhood interaction, teachers & friends in schools & colleges and professional knowledge & practices learned while at work, enmeshed with individual experiences. The general understanding of having one consolidated world view is missing.

Frames criss crossing each other, with rough & sharp edges at times, unpredictable as well, as the whole grooming process and it’s impact remain unknown to others. It manifests itself in weird ways at crucial junctures, leaving us in surprise & with a feeling that we had never understood the person. Whims, fancies & idiosyncrasies picked up since childhood or in different personal interactions adds to the complexities of the creation of a synthesized frame of mind.

Conventional families & modern nuclear centric families helps develop a frame of mind. Western liberal public schooling adds another layer on already consolidated one. Different frames of mind are also nebulous. The famed practicalities of modern day living & systems, picked up in differential way leads up to a messed up creation. Individuality as an independent frame adding other inputs onto it, is never the undercurrent. Thus, the glue itself is missing. The * complex interfaces of the world, besides the pulls and pressures of professional life*, adds to the already messed up mental frame.

The multi-media world & lack of application of mind, all contribute to the creation of a frame of mind, which generally seems to be non-functional. Lack of alignment of different frames of mind, picked up from different scenarios is commonplace. There is no effort, skill or capability to stitch them into one. The result is that the reactions, utterances, behavior are basically based on motor responses rather than on real cognition with backend support of a synthesized frame of mind.

DIFFERENT FRAMES OF MINDS EXISTING SIMULTANEOUSLY LEADS TO A BROKEN PERSONALITY.
