PERSONAL STYLE, PROFESSIONAL STYLE & ORGANISATIONAL STYLE

Disconnect is the name of the game in all types of organisations. Had it been between departments it is accceptable. The discontent between the personal style of the leader and that of the organisation, community and the nation is the biggest challenge. Have you ever given it a thought or have just been swayed by one size fits all leadership theories. At the end of the day, there is sense and worst still is a thought, that might be, we never started. The seamless blend of personal style into professional style and further into organisational style is the formula of success.

First the issue is, does the leader has a personal style; if he is a cog in the wheel, the issue of positive change does not take off. Lots of leaders at all levels have personal style, which most of the subordinates boast off. It pertains to the non-professional style, by which we have been getting enamoured endlessly. Personal style for me is sum total of skills and competencies to influence all your subordinates to fulfil tasks they / you have been assigned, way better than it has ever happened.

The ingredients of personal style has to be professionally packaged for easier understanding by all who matter in the professional / business / enterprise ecosystem. As it happens it has a professional relevance and gets associated with all that you do and also with your goals / achievements. This success will entail the transformation of an individual into a leader professional. Charisma becomes his second name and deliverables start flowing from the word go. A long haul?

For a leader to make his tested and tried professional style as the organisational style is the challenge which only one of a kind leader takes, if he does, he becomes an icon.Steve Jobs was one such charisma. A personal style becoming the sustaining professional organisational style, is the ultimate any leader can aspire for.

THE TRANSFORMATION OF PERSONAL STYLE INTO ORGANISATIONAL STYLE, IS THE TRANSFORMATION TO AN ENDURING LEADER.
