THE COURAGE FACTOR!

If every thing is common, the differentiator in any decision is the courage factor or the lack of it. At least the decision is made either way; chickening out or otherwise. The paragons of the game are even a stage ahead, they would not like to decide. Being strategically evasive is an art one has to imbibe to be in tune with the times. The termite continues through the process of executing and the end result at the very best is an truncated results.

The power of courage in our worldly and professional existence in not taught anywhere; home, schools, colleges or in the professional environment. The world of sophistication treats courage as an anathema. Nice dresses and supposedly civilised behaviour is good enough to pull you through in today’s existence. Unfortunately, that is not the case but we are not ready to change. Leave aside talking loud, even talking vociferously is derided.

Courage adds wings to your decision making. At the mental level the capability to make effort for that cause gets quadrupled. The mental capability to battle it out, adds a killing edge to whatever you do. What is extremely important is that it automatically ushers in a sense of responsibility and accountability in you. Once these two behavioural traits are in place, the useless management communication is brought down to the minimum, which is inversely proportional to efficiency.

When the whole society and professional community have become fully averse to courage as a tool of professional delivery, it would become next to impossible to pass it on to subordinates / next generation. It’s time we celebrate Courage Factor and make it an integral part of our existence. Only then we can create and execute projects. Let Courage be the primordial feel of our existence.

COURAGE IS THE DIFFERENTIATOR BETWEEN THE SUPER PERFORMERS AND THE ALSO RANS.
