WHAT ALL CAN YOU GET READYMADE?
What all have you expected to get readymade or want to get ready made? May be literally everything. That is the challenge with today’s world. The expectation and the aspiration of doing away with the gestation period. That is against the will of nature. Consumerist society followed by the digital one makes one feel that everything can happen instantaneously. Life is not a movie ticket nor a dashboard with data neatly graphed.
The exams are made easier and easier for ever increasing complex requirements. The syllabus is cut down in the process of making you ready for a voluminous and complex reading and understanding in the life ahead. The stress, rigour and tension of studies should never touch the student is the expectation. Which means that learning and excellence should be provided readymade. The results at times reflect that but the world has always been averse to readymades.
With zero parenting and lack of teachers grooming we want the kids should have best of the behaviour. The Readymade Mindset makes you slip into the deep morass of effortless living. Summaries of more than 2500 best selling non-fiction books are provided in 15 minute reads. Even Thomas Friedman and Jim Collins would find it an undoable task. God only save the ones who summarise and ones who read. The new well read breed.
