WHY DO WE PLAY EMOTIONAL GAMES EVERY TIME?

What cannot be explained by any other logic or rationale, evidence or substantiation, mindset or process, is done by what we call as sentiments and emotions. Emotions are of immense value in the familial, societal, friendly and community based relationships even leasing to generations of bonding and attachment which withstands the test of time. The confidence and trust can be really rewarding. But even in such relationships as in case of parents / children an element of realism, corrective and harsh dealing at times only delivers.

The problem is not with emotions being at the core of a large number of human relationships, the issue is when emotions are used as a bargaining tool in these relationships or we get blinded to rational thinking if any of these persons are concerned or even worse having learned this art, use it with gay abandon in business or professional relationship, interaction and even in process. If you take a look at the world around you and try to do a serious thinking about it, you will realise that there is a vast percentage of relationships where emotions is used as a game.

Being professionally upright and also being a relentless deliverable is not easy and with subjectivity still playing a role in deciding the people’s output, Indians have been perfecting the art of playing emotional games, starting as a test case and over a period of time in every case, every time. They do research on who is close to whom, what weakness can be tapped and that too in the best possible manner. There is also a mix of emotional and professional at times, with the emotional making the kill.

India practices it’s weird brand of professionalism from crying in most awkward of the situations to Diwali gifts. Pushing in emotions, network and old relationships is the order of the day. There cannot be an emotion free society is right but over peppering all relationships with emotions with a vested agenda is a travesty of professionalism, ethics, objectivity, transparency and whatever the modern world stands for.

WE ARE COMPETENT ENOUGH TO CREATE AN EMOTION BASED PROFESSIONAL ORDER.
