IS COMPLIANCE JUST AN ISSUE?
Treating compliance, standards and certification as mere compliance issues is fraught with dangers that negatively affects performance, user comfort, security and can land you on the wrong side of the law.
Left to the fate of the consultants, outsourced agents and unprofessional / ill staffed compliance staff, most of it done for name sake. The standards, compliance and certification standards remain unknown to the vast majority of the operational staff and managers, who are tasked to meet those standards on a day to day basis. Having not done so, the benchmarks don’t permeate to become the working culture of the organization. It cannot be treated just as an audit risk
From ISO to NABH all are destined to meet the same fate. The present Cyber Security scenario and lack of professional quality and service in lots corporate hospitals is a part of the same malaise.
