How much of your life professional and personal, runs on some gadget or the other? The life’s engagement with gadget has been increasing in an exponential manner and the gadgets have gotten more and more complex by the day. On the face of it simplicity is flouted because it should that way. Have you ever struggled with your gadget, has it ever come in way of your work / life? Understand the plight of the vast majority, who have been forced in the world of gadgetry for no fault of theirs and are unprepared in that regard.
How many of us put gadgets to optimum use? Do we get the comfort level which it is intended to provide or that is just a mirage? What percentage of gadgets we buy we really use on a regular basis? Presuming that there is a need when we buy the gadget, what comes in the way of using it. The answer is simple and straight but accepting it is the real challenge. Have you mastered you gadget? In the changed world when there are controls, menu and software for everything and added to that is the permanent threat of data and cyber security, there is no other way but master your gadget.
Imagine of situation if you able to master your smart phone or the functionalities / softwares / utilities which are required by you. Stress and tension out of the job would go down considerably. The confidence in using the gadget today provides you the comfort of life. How many times have you waited for a small job to be attended by a technical person or someone else when you could have done it yourself. Dependence is our DNA. That highly placed people or so don’t deal with gadget and all that.
This is a mindset issue and it has to sorted once and for all. In the ever changing technical age the least we can do is to master our gadget. There would be a time when there would be nobody to help you out. This his hard learning. If it were to come to learning new skills or improving considerably over the acquired one, how difficult would it be. Dependence will always be curse and ignorance of what you use regularly will become a major challenge. You would be feelings the pangs of that world already.
